Analysis Inter-Korean trade hits record high in 2014Analysis of 15 years of data shows huge declines in DPRK trade with countries outside of China Inter-Korean trade rose to an all-time high of more than $2 billion in 2014, according to data from the South Korean Ministry of Unification (MoU). The numbers, available on the MoU’s website, show trade between the two countries recovering from a steep decline in 2013, with both imports and exports increasing to totals higher than any seen since the year 2000. Prior to this the figures were grouped to show just one value for the previous two decades.
