The updates cover income, property, turnover, service and even inheritance tax rates for the DPRK’s economic zones. “(The taxes) are applicable to foreign-invested businesses, foreign individuals and overseas Koreans that conduct business transactions or earn income in EDZs (Economic Development Zones), and tax supervision in the zones will be conducted by relevant taxation institutions under the guidance of the central taxation organ,” the article reads.
