Korean leadership agenda in AprilKim and other elites focused on governing country, military industry, and military & political ceremonies The agenda of Kim Jong Un and other North Korean leadership officials in April was primarily focused on military and political affairs. In addition to the anniversary of Kim Il Sung’s birth on April 15, there were two major political meetings. Military events appear to focus on the domestic arms production industry and events which would help solidify Kim’s standing with the military. Some leadership position changes took place and Kim’s wife reappeared after a long absence from public view.
