The DRPK vessel is currently stranded in Tuxpan Port on Mexico’s east coast after running aground nearly a year ago. The crew remained on the vessel awaiting a decision from Mexican authorities on whether or not to freeze the vessel, as part of UN sanctions against its owner, Ocean Maritime Management (OMM).
