Kyler Ong graduated with an MPhil in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge in October 2016, and a BA in Intelligence Studies from the American Military University in 2014. She has specific interest in monitoring North Korea’s nuclear weapons programme, propelling her to write her final graduate dissertation on explicating North Korea’s nuclear brinkmanship behaviour using game theory and formal modelling. She was later invited to speak at the BISA Nuclear Order Working Group Conference in September 2016 hosted by the War Studies Department in King’s College London, where she presented her dissertation. In her spare time, she learns Korean in Spanish, her fourth and third language, respectively.
