Chris H. Park is an MA candidate at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is a research assistant at the Merrill Strategic Studies Center under former Acting Director of Central Intelligence John McLaughlin and at the U.S.-Korea Center under Dr. Miyeon Oh. Chris was the 2022 next-generation scholar at the George Washington Institute for Korean Studies. His research interests involve the U.S.-South Korea alliance, Northeast Asian security, and alignment politics. His work has appeared in The Diplomat and Asia Unbound at the Council on Foreign Relations.
