The sister and unofficial spokesperson of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has rejected Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko’s assertion that Pyongyang reached out to request a top-level summit, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
“If I comment on the report of TASS on the speaking of the Belarusian president that we proposed a top-level meeting to Minsk for a discussion of the issue of cooperation, there is no such thing, at least, as far as I know,” Kim Yo Jong said in the KCNA statement released Monday.
