Hundreds of North Korean troops killed or wounded in Kursk, Kyiv and Seoul say

Ukrainian intelligence puts casualties at over 200, while South Korea’s NIS expects figure to rise to 1,000

More than 200 North Korean soldiers have been killed or wounded in combat against Ukrainian troops in Kursk, according to Kyiv, with many of the injured soldiers transported to a hospital near Moscow.

South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) also placed the death toll for DPRK troops at a minimum of 100 in a report to the National Assembly Intelligence Committee on Thursday, stating that this total includes some high-ranking officers and that the number of injured could rise as high as 1,000.
