Ukraine says it intercepted North Korean troops’ radio communications in Russia

Kyiv releases recording as evidence of DPRK soldiers in Kursk, though experts say it’s difficult to verify authenticity

Ukrainian intelligence claims to have intercepted North Korean radio communications in Russia’s Kursk region, the latest evidence Kyiv has offered of DPRK involvement in the war.

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) stated on Sunday that its officers had captured a radio conversation the day before between DPRK soldiers “deployed to perform tasks in the Kursk region,” releasing an audio recording with Ukrainian subtitles.
