Volodymyr Zelensky said North Korean troops are fighting alongside Russian forces against Ukraine, calling on the West to ramp up military support for Kyiv.

“We see that the alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea is growing stronger,” the Ukrainian president said in a statement on Sunday. “This is not just about transferring weapons. It is actually about transferring people from North Korea to the armed forces of the occupiers.”
