North Korea resumes printing English newspaper as foreigners trickle back in

Russian Embassy says Pyongyang Times has returned after ‘long break,’ in possible sign DPRK intends to reopen further

North Korea has resumed printing and subscription services for its main newspaper for foreigners living in the country “after a long break,” according to the Russian Embassy in the DPRK on Friday.

One expert told NK News that the return of the Pyongyang Times could be a sign that North Korea is preparing to allow more foreigners to enter in the near future, years after most left due to strict COVID-19 border controls.
