Foreign professors are set to resume teaching at Pyongyang University of Science and Technology (PUST), the only privately run university in North Korea, for the first time since the country imposed strict COVID-19 border controls nearly five years ago.
A PUST representative told NK News on Monday that North Korean authorities have issued visas for an unspecified number of foreign professors to return to the school founded by a Korean American evangelical Christian.
