North Korean leader Kim Jong Un flaunted a new Maybach luxury car in front of newly homeless flood victims last week, as he continues to import high-priced foreign vehicles totaling millions of dollars for his personal use.

The 2024 Maybach GLS 600 starts at $200,000 and only went on sale in the last months of 2023, meaning Kim likely imported it sometime this year — once again demonstrating his ability to skirt sanctions on hard-to-smuggle goods, including military equipment.
