Russia’s top prosecutor visits North Korea for first time to discuss cooperation

Igor Krasnov expected to meet DPRK counterpart and sign cooperation deal as two countries expand ties beyond arms trade

Russia’s chief prosecutor is visiting North Korea for the first time ever, the prosecutor’s office announced on Monday, in the latest sign of the two countries' efforts to expand ties beyond arms trade.

Igor Krasnov is set to meet his DPRK counterpart Kim Chol Won and discuss issues of bilateral cooperation with other officials, his office said in a press release, without stating exactly when he arrived.
