The U.S. has exported goods to North Korea for the first time in seven years, according to U.S. government data, in what appears to have been a series of private aid shipments worth over $200,000.
The resumption of exports comes as the DPRK keeps its borders shut to humanitarian workers and as Seoul reported that there was no cross-border trade between the two Koreas last year.
