North Korea launched “several cruise missiles” into the Yellow Sea around 7 a.m., South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) stated on Wednesday morning.
The launches come weeks after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced a new inter-Korean policy abandoning the goal of reunification and instructing the military to prepare and practice “subjugating” the South Korean territory at a time of contingency.
