Russia likely aided North Korea’s successful satellite launch: ROK spy agency

NIS tells lawmakers that Russia provided blueprints and data related to first and second rocket stages

In a closed-door meeting with the National Assembly’s Intelligence Committee, the National Intelligence Service (NIS) assessed that the DPRK successfully launched its first military spy satellite into orbit on Tuesday night, confirming Pyongyang’s claims.
