North Korea has criticized the U.S. for calling the Pyongyang regime a “persistent threat” in its new strategy for countering weapons of mass destruction.
A spokesperson for the DPRK defense ministry called the label “another grave military and political provocation against independent sovereign states” in a statement published by Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Wednesday.
