The U.S and South Korea will hold the inaugural meeting of their new Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG) next week in Seoul, according to the ROK presidential office.
The meeting comes around two months after U.S. President Joe Biden and South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol agreed to establish the NCG during their summit in Washington, a move Yoon said “upgraded” their partnership to a "nuclear-based" alliance.
