South Korea has proposed that it regularly participate in U.S.-led multinational cyber defense exercises, as the allies look to further strengthen joint deterrence against cyber threats from North Korea and other adversaries.
Seoul made the proposal during the 8th U.S.-ROK Cyber Cooperation Working Group (CCWG) held in Seoul on Monday and Tuesday, the ROK defense ministry said in a press release Wednesday. The U.S. delegation promised to review “positively,” according to the ministry.
