A senior U.S. nuclear official posted a photo Thursday posing in front of a large new statue allegedly built by a sanctioned North Korean company in West Africa.

State Department Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins called the new "Amazon" statue in Cotonou, Benin a “powerful representation of Queen Tassi Hangbe’s legacy and the legion of female-warriors who defended present day #Benin” in a tweet that appeared to be deleted later the same day.
