Kim Jong Un’s daughter unlikely to be next leader of North Korea: Seoul minister

Unification ministry's Kwon Young-se also raises doubts about reported DPRK outreach regarding separated families

South Korea’s unification minister says he isn’t convinced that recent appearances by Kim Jong Un’s daughter mean she will be the next North Korean leader, proposing that they serve internal propaganda purposes about the preeminence of the Kim family bloodline.

Kwon Young-se delivered the assessment at a parliamentary session on Wednesday, a week after the girl reportedly named Kim Ju Ae stood front and center at a mass military parade in Pyongyang to mark the 75th anniversary of the national army.
