North Korea fires intercontinental ballistic missile ‘eastward’: Seoul

Photos and videos seen by NK News show a white contrail visible from Pyongyang, indicating launch from Sunan airport

North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) in an “eastward” direction, South Korea’s military said Friday morning.

An informed source in Pyongyang told NK News that they saw and heard a missile launch in the morning, suggesting that the launch took place from the capital's Sunan airport. The launch could be heard indoors at a location several miles from the airport, according to the source.
