North Korea tidies up its side of Panmunjom after months of neglect, photos show

Renewed activity on DPRK side of inter-Korean border may indicate pending activity there, experts say

North Korean authorities have cut weeds and trimmed brush at the Joint Security Area (JSA) on the inter-Korean border for the first time in months, new photos show, raising the possibilty that the DPRK is preparing for renewed activity there.

A large white canopy has also been mounted over parts of the Panmungak building, a likely indicator of construction or renovation, photos posted on social media last Wednesday show.
