A Taiwanese court sentenced a local businessman to a year behind bars on Thursday for smuggling thousands of tons of oil into North Korea.
According to a Kaohsiung court press release, Huang Wang Ken (黄旺根) confessed to moving 3,000 tons of refined petroleum into North Korea across several shipments in 2018.
