South Korea and the U.S. will initiate talks to “expand the scope and scale” of joint military exercises to counter the “grave threat” posed by North Korea, the leaders of the two countries agreed during a summit in Seoul on Saturday.
South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and U.S. President Joe Biden “share the view that the DPRK’s nuclear program presents a grave threat” to the entire world, according to a joint statement released after their meeting.
