The U.N. Security Council (UNSC) convened Wednesday to discuss North Korea’s latest spate of missile tests but once again failed to issue a joint condemnation due to Russian and Chinese opposition.
During the meeting, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield slammed Pyongyang for a “self-initiated and unprovoked” campaign of testing that threatens regional stability.
