A dozen South Korean human rights groups called on the incoming Yoon Suk-yeol administration to renew Seoul’s focus on North Korean human rights at the South Korean parliament building on Monday, accusing President Moon Jae-in of letting the issue slide off his inter-Korean policy agenda. 

Among the groups present were the Database Center for North Korean Human Rights (NKDB), Unification Media Group and the Unification Academy. Together they put forward policy recommendations for the president-elect at the event, which was co-hosted by the National Assembly Human Rights Forum.
