North Korea says it remains free of COVID-19 after testing 734 more people, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Tuesday, as the country’s state media warns of rising cases globally due to colder temperatures.

According to the WHO’s weekly situation report, the DPRK screened 162 people with flu-like illness or severe acute respiratory infections and 572 health care workers in its latest round of testing from Nov. 5-11. The country now says it has conducted polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests on a cumulative 45,564 people.
