Top diplomats from Russia and South Korea met in Moscow and discussed the “urgency” of the resolution of North Korean nuclear issues, South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) stated on Wednesday.
The meeting between South Korea’s foreign minister Chung Eui-yong and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov comes as the Moon administration seeks to achieve progress in formally ending the Korean War (1950-1953) before leaving office next May.
