The U.S. should drop its “hostile policy” toward North Korea, permanently halt joint military exercises with South Korea and remove “strategic weapons” from the region, DPRK Ambassador Kim Song said at the U.N. General Assembly (UNGA) on Monday.
Kim said Washington has posed military threats “every day” for decades through its alliance with Seoul, but added that “a good prospect will be opened for the DPRK-U.S. relations and the inter-Korean relations if the U.S. refrains from threatening the DPRK and gives up its hostility towards it.”
