COVID-19 North Korea says it’s still COVID-19 free, develops new testing equipmentNew reported technology comes as WHO says total tested in DPRK exceeds 36,000 North Korea has continued to report zero cases of COVID-19, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday, as state media reported that the country has domestically developed polymerase chain reaction (PCR) equipment used in virus testing. The DPRK reported that it conducted PCR tests for COVID-19 on 679 people from Aug. 5-12, according to the WHO’s weekly situation report.
