North Korea again reports no COVID cases, as Seoul pushes humanitarian aid

World Health Organization says DPRK tested 681 more people, bringing total tested to over 34,000

North Korea has once again reported zero positive cases of COVID-19 after another week of testing, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), as Seoul pushes to send humanitarian aid to the North following the restoration of inter-Korean hotlines.

In its weekly situation report, the WHO said the DPRK tested a total of 681 people using polymerase chain reaction tests from July 16 to 22, including 109 people with flu-like illness or acute respiratory infections and 572 health care workers.
