North Korea has continued to maintain that there have been no cases of the novel coronavirus in the country, according to the latest World Health Organization (WHO) report, after testing an additional 735 people.

The country has conducted polymerase chain reaction COVID-19 tests on a total of 31,083 persons, or 61,892 samples, as of June 17, a WHO report released Friday stated. The latest tests conducted from June 11 to 17 include tests on 149 people with flu-like illness or “severe acute respiratory infections,” the WHO said.
