North Korea is not considering talking with the U.S., said the country’s foreign minister Ri Son Gwon on Wednesday in a press statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
“We are not considering even the possibility of any contact with the U.S., let alone having it, which would get us nowhere, only taking up precious time,” Ri wrote. The statement was published on KCNA around 8 a.m. Eastern Time.
