It’s up to North Korea whether or not to resume talks with the United States, America’s top diplomat said just two days after U.S. President Joe Biden and South Korean President Moon Jae-in met for their first summit in Washington.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in an interview on Sunday that Washington is now waiting for North Korea to make the next move, following a pledge by Moon and Biden at their Friday summit to pursue “diplomacy and dialogue” with North Korea while vowing to uphold sanctions against the country.
