North Korea claims zero confirmed COVID-19 cases after testing 23,121 people

A new World Health Organization report states that the DPRK tested more than 700 people over the course of a week

North Korea still claimed to have zero confirmed cases of COVID-19 after testing more than 700 people over the course of the week, a new report from the World Health Organization shows.

According to the report, the DPRK said that it tested 732 people between March 26 and April 1, none of whom had a positive result for the virus. Among those tested, 115 had “influenza-like illness and/or severe acute respiratory infections,” the report stated.
