When North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles into the sky on Thursday morning, it sent an underlying message to U.S. President Joe Biden: ‘Underestimate us at your peril.’

The launch, which is the first-known ballistic missile test during Biden’s presidency, took place just a few days after the DPRK fired short-range cruise missiles on Sunday — an incident that the president himself described as mere “business as usual.”
