North Korea claims it tested nearly 12,500 people for COVID-19 and still has not had a single confirmed case, according to new numbers reported to the World Health Organization (WHO).
On Monday, WHO related that the DPRK ran COVID-19 tests on 24,704 samples taken from 12,489 people as of Dec. 24, 2020. Among those tested, 787 people were newly swabbed during the seven-day period of Dec. 18 to Dec. 24, suggesting a testing pace similar to the previous month.
