North Korea’s paranoia over COVID-19, however justified, has produced a long list of things to be wary of in 2020. The country has warned people that the novel coronavirus can spread through migratory birds, snow, packages and polluted air from China — often circulating shaky scientific theories in the process.

Now, North Korea has added another item to that list: On Wednesday, the country’s state-run newspaper warned that frozen foods imported into China carried COVID-19. The article came after a series of similar state media warnings of COVID-19 detection in Chinese frozen food warehouses.
