North Korean defector slams Seoul government class offering admin help to NGOs

Seoul’s unification ministry to hold “workshop” for improving human rights groups’ administrative skills

Months after South Korea launched an investigation into several North Korea-related non-profit organizations, the Ministry of Unification is planning to hold a workshop in part to help those groups comply with the government’s inspection.

That’s not going over well with some NGO leaders, who have expressed opposition to the government’s probe into their operations.
