Top U.S. envoy for negotiations with North Korea Stephen Biegun is holding talks with Japanese foreign ministry officials Wednesday ahead of a newly-announced visit to continue discussions in China.
Biegun arrived in Tokyo on Tuesday evening following a three-day visit to Seoul, where it appears North Korea ultimately ignored his calls to resume face-to-face talks during his stay in South Korea.
