Inter-Korean soccer match to go ahead without press corps, live broadcast

ROK national team departed for Pyongyang game on Monday afternoon

An inter-Korean World Cup qualifier match set to take place in Pyongyang this week will likely go ahead without South Korean broadcasters, journalists, or even spectators present, Seoul said on Monday.

The ROK national squad will arrive in the DPRK on Monday afternoon, with the North and South Korean men’s teams expected to play at Kim Il Sung Stadium on Tuesday at 1730 local time in the first-ever inter-Korean World Cup qualifier to be held in Pyongyang.
