North Korean detained at Vladivostok airport for large-scale cash smuggling

Case is the second reported case of its kind in Russian Far East since October

A North Korean citizen was recently detained at Vladivostok International Airport in possession of USD$192,300 and 1000 euros in undeclared cash, local customs authorities said in a statement issued to press on Monday.

The man was stopped for questioning by customs officials on his way to board a flight to Pyongyang, authorities said.
