The running of North Korea’s first mass games in five years – the “‘Glorious Country’ grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance” – has been extended from the end of September until the October 10 Party Foundation Day, travel company Koryo Tours announced on Thursday.
The tour company told NK News they were notified of the change by partners at the Korea International Travel Company (KITC) on Wednesday, despite reports in North Korean state media in recent days stating the event would only run “from September 9 until the end of September.”
