UN sanctions to stay in place until “concrete action” taken by N. Korea: FM Kang

Kang Kyung-wha says decision to suspend military drills was "goodwill gesture" towards DPRK

United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions on North Korea should be “faithfully implemented” until Pyongyang takes “concrete action on complete denuclearization,” South Korea's foreign minister said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a news conference in Seoul, Kang Kyung-wha said the ROK expects to “see concrete action by North Korea to live up to its complete denuclearization commitment in return for guarantees of its security.”
