Tillerson says he’s unaware of plans to delay military drills with South Korea

In response, Seoul says that "considerable discussions" about postponement have taken place

The U.S. Secretary of State said Tuesday that he is not aware of any plans to delay annual joint military exercises by the U.S. and South Korea during the Winter Olympics, while Seoul said Wednesday that there have been “considerable discussions” about the possibility.

Rex Tillerson's comments came after South Korean President Moon Jae-in said Tuesday that Washington is “reviewing” his suggestion to postpone military exercises if North Korea stops making provocations until the upcoming PyeongChang Olympic Games.
