Jeffrey Feltman, the UN’s Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, will visit North Korea from December 5 to December 8, according to a UN press release on Monday.
The visit to the DPRK - at the invitation of the North Korean government - will be the first by Feltman during his tenure at the UN and the first such visit by an individual in his position since 2010.
