Kim Jong Nam, the late half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, was carrying antidote for treating VX gas in his backpack when he was killed in Malaysia in February, the Malaysian High Court heard on Wednesday.
The revelations suggest Kim was aware of the risk that he could be attacked with the highly toxic substance, and were presented as state evidence in the trial of Siti Aisyah and Doan Thi Huong, the two women accused of his murder.
