Italy to expel North Korean ambassador: foreign minister

Mun Jong Nam's diplomatic accreditation will be halted, says Angelino Alfano

The North Korean ambassador to Italy's accreditation as a diplomat will be stopped and he will be asked to leave the country, the country's foreign minister said on Sunday.

In an interview with la Repubblica, Angelino Alfano said that the decision to expel Mun Jong Nam had been made in light of the DPRK's continued nuclear and missile tests.
